The Kulturpolitische Gesellschaft e.V. is active within the transform.NRW network to strengthen the cultural policy discourse on socio-ecological transformation and to support cultural policy stakeholders in North Rhine-Westphalia through this transition. As a nationwide expert organization based in Bonn, it bridges research, practice, and policy advice, contributing its expertise on issues of cultural policy, cultural education, sustainability, and digitalization. Through its networks, publications, and projects, the association promotes knowledge transfer, exchange, and collaborative learning processes among stakeholders from the cultural, political, and civil society sectors. Participation in the transform.NRW network enables them to contribute ideas from a cultural policy perspective to state-wide transformation processes while simultaneously learning from the experiences of other partners to help shape sustainable structures for a future-oriented cultural policy.
The Kulturpolitische Gesellschaft e.V. aims to establish sustainability as a cross-cutting issue in cultural policy discourse and practice. The focus is on knowledge transfer: The association promotes exchange between academia, cultural practice, and politics; synthesizes findings from research and projects; and makes them accessible to stakeholders in order to strengthen sustainable decision-making and action structures in cultural policy.
