Under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Martina Fineder-Hochmayr and Prof. Erica von Moeller, the faculty is spearheading the collaborative project transform.NRW, which, together with 16 partner organizations from North Rhine-Westphalia, is exploring the potential of art and design for socio-ecological transformation. The project is funded by the Ministry of Culture and Science of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
The project team at the University of Wuppertal includes Prof. Dr. Fabian Hemmert and Prof. Katharina Maderthaner, research associates Katja Kremser and Felix Fastenrath, as well as student and research assistants. Together with the platform, they are developing an approach to show how design research can make processes of social change visible and open to discussion.
